why we do it

To eradicate poverty and illiteracy in kole and to offer its residents with better life.
To run a preschool and primary school, along with vocational education for adults. This gives vulnerable people access to quality education.
To provide a full education to people in kole from preschool to university, supported by a community health clinic.              About 65% of residents are unemployed with high percentage of young people and high youth unemployment.
Many of the residents lack basic skills and this makes it difficult for them to access jobs resulting in families to continue to experience extreme poverty. Founder, Mr Obua George, who was raised in Kole community, experienced how extreme poverty and lack of literacy impacted adversely on health which in turn affects an individual’s ability to acquire and maintain employment.
